The pop-up exhibition I Am Not Here in the framework of Refugee Week Berlin 2025 brings together artists and activists who speak out against violence and oppression, amongst them Babi Badalov, Georgy, Antero Jalomies, Komitee 19 January Berlin, Siniša Labrović, Tanja Ostojić, David Ter-Oganyan, and others.

Their images, flags and banners call for resistance, the release of political prisoners, and demand peace.

Through these protest messages, they transform personal and collective grief into public action against authoritarianism.

Their messages are vivid, raw, urgent and hopeful. They reflect the artists' and activists' shared fight for a future where nobody is silenced or imprisoned for defiance.

As they walk through Berlin with these slogans and banners, they transform the city into a space of solidarity, demonstrating that communities can transcend borders.

To them ‘superpower’ means not allowing war and authoritarianism to destroy hope and resistance.

This event is curated by Rena Rädle & Vladan Jeremić in collaboration with Mensch Raum Land.
