We have teamed up with Berlin Glas e.V. this year to deliver fantastic glass making workshops
Berlin Glas is a non-profit association with a goal to inspire, educate and offer opportunities for people interested in glass. Their mission is to share the art and skill of making art with glass with everyone of all ages, and provide a resource to artists in all media. The underlying message is that working collaboratively doesn't just broaden someone's artistic capacity, but actually creates a culture of peace.
Berlin Glas is Berlin's first public-access glass studio open to artists, designers, students and curious beginners since 2011. Whether you are here to learn, create or just explore, they have space for you.
They are all about sharing the magic of glass — keeping the ancient craft alive while building a creative, inclusive community. Through hands-on workshops, educational programmes and special projects, Berlin Glas make glassblowing and glass art accessible to everyone.
Get inspired. Get connected. Get creative. Come and join — let's shape something beautiful together!

You will learn the technique of glass fusing, where you cut glass in different shapes in order to match your design. At the end of the workshop the pieces are fired in our kiln overnight up to 780°C. You can pick it up in the following days, bring it home and light it with a candle.
Maximum participants : 10

Workshop 2
Kids' Oasis
Friday 20th June 2025 at Haus der Statistik 3-5pm.
Experiment with colour, shape and light through glass!
Kid's Oasis is a family-friendly themed workshop on the subject of glass in which children aged 5 and over can take part. Experienced glass artists guide the participants in planning, painting and attaching a glass motif to a glass plate. They also propose to realise window stickers with which the children can decorate their homes and let the light shine through!
